100,000 on the nose

Steve started his last round of chemo this evening. He has been feeling so well that it's hard to go back to this again. On the other hand, this three week delay in treatment gave him the chance to feel stronger and more like himself. There's no going back for chemo after this recovery -- he can just get better and get back to living his life.

  1. Gonna be nice to stop knowing his platelet count, for sure.

  2. So glad to hear that Steve is doing so well and is now on his last round of consolidation. My dad (David Davis) is 2 months out from his stem cell transplant and just started a clinical trial of Sorafenib yesterday. Looks like we are all blessed that the guys are doing so well. They have had different roads to travel in this leukemia journey but are both winning the battle. Good luck to both of you. Heather Raymond

  3. Good Luck to You Steve & Gina. We all know that this road is long and hard. May he continue to do well and feel well and somewhere down the road its just a vague memory. The good things about this journey is we have met some amazing doctors, nurses and NEW FRIENDS. We shall have to meet up for dinner next year.
